The elf goes camping

1 Cut out the pieces according to the pattern, and cut them along the long end of the felt. In red: 1 tent cover. 2 sleeping mats, 2 fire blankets. In white: 1 tent blanket and 2 roller mats.

2 Roll a red and a white sleeping mat together, and tie them together with the string.

3 Cut fringes in the fire blankets and in the tent carpet.

4 Tie two tent pegs together in a crisscross pattern for the tent stand (x2).

5 Tie a string to the overlay on both stands.

6 Tie the overlay on one side.

7 Now tie the overlay on the other side.

8 Tie the support pegs at the bottom.

9 Tie a string to each corner of the tent cover.

10 Place the tent cover on the stand and tie it to the support pegs.

11 Adjust the legs and cut off any excess. Use the small pieces of cut-off wood for the fire.

12 Use the remains of the wooden sticks as a bonfire area and firewood.

13 Mix natural colours of Silk Clay® and use it for the mushroom bed and forest floor: Mix white with a little green = light green. Mix white with a little brown = light brown. Mix brown with a little green = earthy colour. Mix other colours yourself.

14 Shape the forest floor, some small mushrooms, and some greenery.

15 Make tall grass from two green colours. Roll thin pieces into grass and a larger piece into the base.

16 Place the thin pieces of grass on the base and clamp it all together. Let the grass dry a little beforehand so the grass doesn't stick together.

17 Create a forest floor based on your imagination.

18 Create a base for the fire pit using earthy-coloured Silk Clay®. Roll small beads of different sizes and colours so they look like stones. Place the stones on the bottom in a circle and then put the firewood into it.
