Silk Clay fruit and vegetables for the play kitchen

Model fruit and vegetables from Silk Clay. Use this self-hardening clay with the foam-like surface for fun fruit and vegetables for the children to use in the play kitchen. Model apples, pears, grapes, lemons and carrots.

How to do it

Model the large round pieces of fruit by covering polystyrene balls with Silk Clay. Begin by rolling a piece of Silk Clay flat with a rolling pin.

Roll a blob of brown Silk Clay to a sausage and trim. Model a leaf from green Silk Clay.

Make a slice of watermelon by modelling a blob of pink Silk Clay; mix red and light beige Silk Clay for pink. Model a triangle in your chosen size. Roll a piece of green Silk Clay flat and cut out a rectangle for attaching onto the edge of the watermelon. Roll small seeds from brown Silk Clay and push them onto the watermelon slice.
