Children's spatial and personal intelligence is enhanced by this creative project when making sculptures with gauze bandage. How to do it

Draw shapes onto recycled card. You may use old cardboard or corrugated card boxes.

Attach lolly sticks between the layers of the corrugated card.

Cover the card shape with gauze bandages. You may make the head and the arms from a strip of gauze bandage. Let the shape dry for 24 hours.

Paint the shape with A-Color glossy acrylic paint. Use a thin, round brush for painting facial features.

Make a stand or a base for the shape by cutting off the top of a milk carton. Insert the shape, suspended in the centre.

Fill the carton with plaster compound – approx. 5-8cm. When the plaster compound is solid, cut off the milk carton.
