Lanterns with a Vivi Gade Design Fabric Waist Band

The two lanterns are both decorated with a glued-on waist band made from Vivi Gade Design fabric. Wooden buttons and decorative buttons from Vivi Gade Design are threaded onto a piece of floral wire and wound around each lantern.

How to do it
1. Cut a piece of Vivi Gade Design fabric measuring 26.5 7.5cm. Attach special double-sided adhesive tape along the edge of the long sides on the back of the fabric.
2. Remove the paper protective layer of the special double-sided adhesive tape and fold the piece of fabric with the tape inwards.
3. Attach a piece of special double-sided adhesive tape onto the back of fabric on the short ends. Remove the protective layer of paper and attach the fabric waist band around the lantern.
4. Thread buttons onto a piece of floral wire, fitting the circumference of the lantern.
5. Wind the floral wire tightly around the lantern. Cut off the excess ends and hide them underneath the nearest button.
