What is My Craft Station?
My Craft Station is your child’s very own creative station filled with materials, inspiration and playful imagination. The box is a creative space with everything needed to explore creativity – whether your child enjoys designing their own jewellery, drawing and decorating textiles, or loves modelling in bright colours, there’s a box to match. It can be difficult to find room at home for a dedicated creative corner and storage for all the materials – that’s why the box is ideal. It contains everything you need, while also serving as storage furniture that keeps things organised.
Whether placed in the craft corner, in the hobby nook or in the children’s room, it’s up to you – it’s easy to move around, simple to open and has room for it all. And with its simple design, children can decorate it themselves and make it truly their own.
There are several different My Craft Station boxes, each with materials for a specific hobby or type of creative project. Choose your favourite or collect more to build your own creative shelf. Each box comes with a sticker for the outside, making it easy for you and your child to keep track of which box to pull out.
Keep the mess under control
Do you know the feeling – you want your children to enjoy all the fun of being creative, but you don’t have the energy for the mess and tidying up afterwards? That’s where the craft stations come in. Each box is organised with drawers and storage compartments filled with creative tools, craft materials and accessories – so everything has its place inside the box. This means your child (maybe with a little help) can easily gather up all their small projects and pack them away when the day is done or it’s time for dinner.
The craft station can stay on the desk as a permanent spot for creative work – or it can be taken out of the cupboard whenever it’s time for focus and creativity. However you use it, creativity is always within easy reach and simple to get started with.
The little jewellery designer
Does your child love accessories and sparkly things? With My Craft Station Jewellery, hours of jewellery-making and unique, personal designs await. Open the drawers, explore the materials and start creating fun and colourful necklaces, bracelets and keychains.
The box contains a mix of beads in every variety – from wooden beads to letter and motif beads. You’ll also get elastic thread, colourful polyester cords and different keyrings to inspire fun designs. Creativity really comes alive with the included modelling clay and cutters, so you can make your own beads and jewellery pendants. Handmade jewellery also makes the perfect gift – that’s why My Craft Station Jewellery includes small organza bags with tags, so the beautiful creations can be turned into personal presents.
Fun with modelling
The modelling station offers endless possibilities for shaping and creating imaginative works. In addition to plenty of inspiration, My Craft Station Modelling also includes tools and modelling clays for a world of creative play. There are almost no limits to what you can make – which is why creative children will enjoy many hours of fun, and adults will also find calm and connection by modelling colourful fruit, sweets, ice creams and cakes together with their child. You could, for example, create your own dessert table or recreate Friday night’s colourful sweet bowl filled with caramels, biscuits and fruit.
Silk Clay®, Foam Clay® and glitter clay are all pleasant to work with, and their bright colours spark the imagination of both children and adults. It’s almost impossible not to get carried away by the fun.
Textile decoration
Decorate personal pouches, pencil cases and fruit bags with markers, patterns and drawings. Textile decoration is great fun and full of possibilities. The box includes six textiles ready for decorating and plenty of decorative elements. Children can draw their own designs and patterns with the textile markers or use the stencils to trace letters, numbers and symbols in bright colours.
Try decorating with glitter clay too – make cute sparkling flowers and rainbows and press them onto the fabric. For the finishing touch, add homemade pompoms and beads that can be attached to keyrings. The box contains everything you need – plus plenty of inspiration to help your child get started with decorating.
Unleash creativity
Do you know someone who loves colours, creativity and glitter? My Craft Station Decoration is a burst of colour and decorative fun. In this box you’ll find all the classic craft items and more. Combine the materials and create sweet, funny and quirky creatures. Make your own handmade cards, pencil toppers, little bouquets, pompom flowers and much more. You can also reuse toilet rolls, egg cartons and similar items for creative projects that can be decorated with the included multi-markers, sequins and fun details. Inside the craft station you’ll also find die-cut shapes with butterflies, dinosaurs and people to decorate. Draw faces with markers, make hair from yarn and cut shirts, trousers and dresses out of foam sheets – the possibilities are endless.
The craft station is an inspiring collection of fun decorative elements that spark imagination and creativity.
Complete your craft station
Each craft station has an extra compartment designed to hold an additional drawer. We’ve developed drawers to match each type of craft station – so you can add more jewellery parts, extra modelling fun or materials and decorations for textile projects. We’ve also created a drawer that fits all our craft stations.
No matter which My Craft Station you have – Modelling, Textile Decoration, Jewellery or Decoration – the decoration drawer fits perfectly. It’s made for all models and gives you everything you need to decorate and personalise your craft station. Use the markers to draw directly on the box surface, add glitter stickers and pompoms – and make fun shapes and patterns with cardboard mosaic and Foam Clay®. Once your child has decorated their box to match their unique style, it’s easy to tell their personal box apart from their siblings’.
Complete the modelling station with an extra drawer that opens up even more possibilities. Try working with the popular Stone Clay – a modelling material with real stone powder that gives your creations a rustic, stone-like finish. Use the modelling tools to shape small bowls, figures or stone effects. Once hardened, you can decorate your creations with the included rub-on stickers with animal motifs – and add more details with markers.
The jewellery station can be expanded with an extra drawer filled with shrink plastic, making it easy to create pendants for jewellery. The set includes six sheets of shrink plastic – four with printed motifs ready to colour and cut out, and two blank sheets where your child can draw their own designs. Once the motifs are ready, use the hole punch to make a hole and shrink them in the oven. Then attach an O-ring with the included universal pliers, and the pendant is ready to decorate jewellery or to hang from a keychain.
If you have My Craft Station Textile Decoration, you can use the extra drawer to create colourful embroidery on tote bags – either with stencils or freehand. The drawer includes two tote bags to decorate with simple embroidery stitches in bright colours. Use the stencils to transfer designs onto the fabric and embroider them with the colourful yarn. You can also add fuse beads and sequins for fun details. If your child wants to expand on the designs, they can use the textile markers from the craft station – just remember to iron-fix the markers to make the designs washable.
When the drawers in your craft station start to empty, you can easily restock – either with more of the same materials or with new, exciting supplies for your next projects.
