Hanging star

1 Knead and soften the clay by hand for around 4 minutes.

2 Roll out the clay to a thickness of around 2 mm.

4 Roll the excess clay from step 3 into a ball and then roll it out into a flat circle. Use the small star shape (4.8 cm) to cut out a star in the centre. You now have four hanging decorations. Repeat steps 1-4 with the white fine clay to make a total of eight pieces.

5 Place the hanging decorations on a piece of baking paper and use a pointed pencil to make a hole for the string in the stars.

6 Bake the clay in a preheated oven at 120 degrees for 18 minutes.

7 Allow the hanging decorations to cool and harden for 2-3 hours. Now decorate them by adding sequins and rhinestones with glitter glue and allow the glue to dry completely before inserting the string.

8 Cut 20-25 cm of silver cord, thread through the hole on the hanging decorations and tie a knot.
