Fruit-shaped soaps

Easily create adorable little fruit soaps in shapes ranging from grapes and watermelon to apples, strawberries and oranges. Always store your homemade soaps in a self-draining soap dish or packed in tissue paper or a cellophane bag - the easiest way to prevent the soap from sweating or condensation from forming.

How to do it

Put the soap pieces in a heat-resistant container. Melt the soap in the microwave at 80% power for around 30 seconds. If the soap is not completely melted, heat it for 5 seconds at a time until it is completely liquid. Stir the mixture while melting.
