Make a Christmas angel with a crocheted body of cotton yarn, tulle wings, head using a wooden ball and hands and halo of gold wire. Crochet with crochet hook no. 2.5. This angel is size M and the body is 8 cm in diameter, but you can crochet it in many different sizes.

How to do it
1 Crochet the angel according to the pattern, which you can find as a PDF that can be printed out. Cut the wings free-hand like butterfly wings.
2 Cut the chenille or pipe cleaner in half and twist it together to form a cross, which you will use for the angel’s body, halo and arms.
3 Wrap the vertical part of the chenille around the tulle, which is pulled out to form the wings. Then place the head on top and fix the end of chenille around the halo and the hanging cord, twisting the chenille tightly.
4 Stick the chenille down through the middle of the body from the top and roll the end of the chenille crosswise to make it look like hands.
5 Tie the black thread on the underside of the angel. Halve the string and tie knots 1½ cm up both ends like ankles. Bend the chenille up into the body so that it won't slip out when the angel is hung up.
