This cooler bag and picnic cushion are decorated with solid tempera paint sticks for fabrics using a screen stencil.

How to do it

Insert a box inside the cooler bag keeping the fabric taut. Place the screen stencil onto the fabric and paint the chosen letters with the solid tempera paint sticks for fabrics.

A TIP: Place a plastic pocket (or similar) inside the bag and/or the picnic cushion for protection, avoiding smudging.

Attach the screen stencil (it has a slightly self-adhesive back) onto the bag. Attach Masking Tape to all four corners to keep it in place. Twist the crayon from the paint stick and start painting.

Fix the design with an iron when dry. Place a piece of baking paper between the print and the iron and fix for approx. 4 min. The bag can now be wiped with a damp cloth.
