Card Pixies dressed in Clothes made from Vivi Gade Design Paper

1.   Print and cut out the template which is available as a separeate PDF file for this idea. (A = wife, B = husband). Draw the parts onto card and cut out. NB: the template states how many to cut out.

2.   Alternatively, cut out the parts through several layers without cutting out the template beforehand. Cut out two dresses (front and back).

3.   Attach double-sided adhesive tape to the inside of one dress.

4.   Attach the body and the body parts onto the tape on the dress. Attach double-sided adhesive tape to the inside of the other dress. Place this carefully and precisely onto the first dress.

5.   Attach the two cut-out heads as follows; attach double-sided adhesive to the bottom inside of one head and attach this to the body (from behind). Attach double-sided adhesive tape to the other head and attach onto the first head from the front.

6.   Attach the pixie hat which comes in 2 parts. Attach double-sided adhesive tape to the bottom of one hat and attach this to the head. Attach double-sided adhesive tape to the top of the other hat. Attach this to the first pixie hat, from the other side.

7.   Attach double-sided adhesive tape along the edge of the pixie hat. Attach a long tuft of carded wool.

8.   Use a hole punch for making buttons for the clothes. (Only on the front).

9.   Glue a pair of wiggle eyes onto the head and draw facial features with a black permanent marker. We have used a fine medallion pen.

10.   Attach a piece of mercerised cotton yarn onto the pixie hat for hanging.
