Build an adorable little birdhouse using glue and nails. This activity helps to develop both hand-eye coordination and precision – and if you follow the instructions on the back of the package, you'll work safely and easily. You can then decorate the birdhouse with paint or a pyrography tool – or leave it as is and go for the more natural look.
Hang the finished birdhouse in the garden so that the birds have a safe place to eat. Watch the birds in action from your window and talk and read about the different species that come to visit.
