A Tapas Set

The wooden strips are sawn and glued together to make a serving tray – and then varnished. A Glass and Porcelain Contour marker is used for decorating the bowls which are then fixed in an oven.

How to do it
1 Saw the wooden strips according to the desired number of bowls or dishes.
2 Sand the edges lightly. Avoid sanding too much as the wood pieces become too rounded!
3 Glue the narrow wooden strips onto the base using Express wood glue.
4 Varnish the wooden tray two or three times. Sand lightly after the first application.
5 Draw small graphic patterns onto the bowls using a Glass and Porcelain Contourmarker. After four hours, fix the bowl/dish in the oven at 160 degrees for 90 minutes.
