A Polystyrene Angel with Foam Clay and Silk Clay

This angel is made from an oval, flat white polystyrene UFO covered partly with Foam Clay for hair and dress and partly with Silk Clay for the face, hands and heart. White down is used for the wings and a silver pipe cleaner for the halo. Both are simply pressed on.

How to do it
1 
Cover the top of the UFO with Silk Clay for the skin and at the bottom with Foam Clay for the dress.

Roll small balls of Silk Clay for the ears, eyes, nose, cheeks and mouth for the face. (A TIP: You may mix white with coloured Silk Clay for lighter shades). Press the parts onto the face.

Model two arms and small balls for the hair from Foam Clay. Model the hands and a large heart from Silk Clay. Attach the hands onto the arms and press them onto the body along with the heart. Press the hair onto the top of the head.

Roll up a silver pipe cleaner for the halo and cut a piece of silver thread for hanging. Make a hole with a sharp needle at the top of the head, secure the silver thread and the end of the pipe cleaner halo in the hole. Seal with a bit of Silk Clay. Attach down onto the back and seal with Foam Clay.
