A Money Gift in a deep 3D double-sided wooden Frame

1 Paint the numbers with Plus Color craft paint.

2 Carefully remove the strings from the inner frame and remove the pegs. Paint all the visible surfaces of all three parts of the frame.

3 Print out an amusing photo of the person celebrating their birthday and attach it onto a piece of design paper. Glue this onto the back panel.

4 Write text with a Uni Posca marker.

5 Cut small flags from design paper. The flags should measure 2 x 3 cm each when folded in the middle.

6 Glue the two strings together. Tie a knot at the ends of the glued string and tie a knot on the string where you want to glue it onto the inside of the frame. Glue the knots onto the inside of the frame using a glue gun. The string should run from the inside top of the frame to one side and should finish on the opposite inside side of the frame.

7 Attach double-sided adhesive tape onto the back of the flags and squeeze them together around the string. Make sure to cover the glued joint with a flag.

8 Assemble the frame by fixing the transparent perspex front onto the frame, then insert the inner frame. Glue the numbers onto the bottom of the frame using a glue gun. Fill the bottom of the frame with rolled-up bank notes and coins by tipping the frame a bit forward. Finally, attach the back panel and close the frame.
