A card and fabric Christmas house decorated with glitter for hanging

1 Remove the card template from the sheet and fold along all the score lines.

2 Apply decoupage lacquer onto the front of the card house using a brush.

3 Place the fabric with the front face down, apply decoupage lacquer on the back of the fabric all the way to the edges with a brush and place the card house on top. Smooth out with your hands and leave to dry.

4 Trim all the edges of the fabric to fit the house template with scissors. You may draw a 2 x 2 cm window as shown in the photo.

5 Cut out the window with an art knife and a metal ruler. Cut open the two slots for assembling the house.

6 Fold along all the score lines using a bone folder.

7 Cut a small hole in the tab which is used for closing the roof. Push a piece of string tied with a triple knot through the hole as shown in the photo.

8 Cut iron-on foil to fit the roof and iron it on, following the instructions on the packaging.

9 Assemble the house and apply glue along the edges. Assemble the house into a cube, then assemble the roof and finally the bottom. Use a brush handle for pushing the gable end in place.
