Paint the whole canvas in one colour. Allow to dry.
Select an image from a magazine or take a picture and copy it using a laser copier.
Cut out the copied motif and apply an even layer of varnish glue to the front.
Place the motif face down on the canvas and smooth out.
Allow the motif to dry thoroughly for two to four hours, or even until the next day.
Dip a sponge in water and moisten the back of the copy until the paper begins to dissolve.
Gently rub off the paper completely with your fingers until all of the motif can be seen clearly.
Coat the whole canvas in varnish glue and allow to dry.
Decorate with paint effects and 3D lines. Allow to dry.
Choose a light base colour for the canvas so that the motif is as sharp as possible.
Remember to paint the edges of the 3D canvas, either with the same colours as the picture or in black to frame the picture.
